Name of Project : VISION CENTRE BASED EYE HEALTH PROJECT(VCBEHP)
Partner : Operation Eyesight Universal, Canada
The project is running in 25 selected villages at Seharabazar under Purba Bardhaman district covering population of 50,000. The target of the project is to declare the area as “Blindness Free “on completion of the project after four years. Another project is running at Helan in the district of Hooghly.
OEU also extended support through sponsorship for providing skill development training at LVPEI , Hyderabad with a view to develop the capacity and impart latest technological knowledge to the partners.
OEU also extended support to upgrade the facility of the hospital by supplying latest and modern instrument and financial assistance to give modern look of the Vision Centres.
OEU also extended support to its partner hospitals by deploying experts from LVPEI on different field for providing support to maintain quality of service. Our hospital has got such scope and had a very good opportunity to get the on field training on OT maintenance , sterilization process, patient caring etc. from the expert team of LVPEI.
